Senior Pastor Search

Calvary Baptist Church is excited for this new path that we have been given. Our Senior Pastor has retired this year to be able to spend more time with his family. We are excited for him as he and his wife begin the next steps in their lives. Calvary has been blessed with a wonderful search committee to take on the role of searching for our next Senior Pastor. We are excited to see where God will lead us.

What are we looking for?

The senior pastor is responsible for leading the church in functioning as a New Testament church. His major focus is to preach the Word of God, and lead in the exercising of the great commission as commanded in Matthew 28. He is to prepare all God's people for the work of Christian service, and to build up the body of Christ. He will lead the congregation, the organizations, and the church staff in performing their tasks. He may serve as an ex-officio member of all committees. Therefore, he is the leader of worship, witness, discipleship, and pastoral ministries.
