This Sunday at 5:00 p.m., we will kick off some new adult discipleship groups.  Men will do a John McArthur study led by Troy Harrison on the book of James in Room 115.  This is a verse by verse expostion of James.

For women: Jesus' earthly ministry was focused on teaching and training disciples. As He prepared to ascend into heaven, His final words to His disciples were to go and make disciples. Yet, most of us are not doing that. Why? Is it because we're afraid of awkwardness? Is it because we're afraid of rejection? Is it because we're not really sure how to go about making disciples? 

This Sunday evening, we will begin "Women's Discipleship Workshop," and I am personally inviting YOU! I am calling it a "workshop" instead of a Bible study because not only will we study God's Word, but we will work together to assemble a toolbox, of sorts, that we can take with us and use in our daily interactions with those God places in our paths — with the goal of making disciples! 

God has been laying this on my heart for a while, and I am excited to share with you what God has been teaching me. I have also asked several women who are actively making disciples to share their wisdom with us at various points throughout our study. I CANNOT WAIT to see what God is going to do in this class. I pray you'll join us!
